Fun Events in Suwanee the Whole Family Can Enjoy!
Summer is nearly here and we are here for it!
Along with no school and summer vacation, comes a variety of options for outings and activities galore in and around our lovely town of Suwanee! We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful town that embraces the culture of community and the desire to bring people together!
Here is a list of just some of the fun coming up! Which ones will you attend?
Events & Activities That Are Reoccuring During the Summer
Suwanee Farmers Market
Every Saturday: June, July, August
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
The Suwanee Farmers Market offers delectable offerings weekly throughout the summer months of May - September, from 8:00 a.m. - noon.
Grab your reusable shopping bags and your appetites and head to the market. In addition to a cornucopia of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, market vendors often include curated selections of pastas, jellies, sauces, spices and rubs, sausage, eggs, fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, and even skincare items. The market also features various international flavors, sweet and savory food items, and much more!
Food Truck Fridays: June 2, July 7, August 4
Food trucks open at 5:30 PM
Music starts at 7:00 PM
Local musicians and food trucks are the dual highlights at this very popular Suwanee tradition! Bring your blankets and chairs, but please (as always) NO BYOB is permitted. Food and alcoholic beverages to-go are available for purchase at Town Center merchants.
Movie Under the Stars
Town Center Park, Suwanee

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a FREE double movie feature. Food trucks and sweet treats will be available for purchase, as well as alcoholic beverages to go. As always, BYOB is not permitted at Town Center events.

Make exploring the parks of Suwanee an adventure by playing Bingo!

Suwanee Sculp Tour!
Take a look at the latest pieces in the Suwanee’s sculpture collection by viewing and voting on your favorite works of art. A fun printable passport can be your guide as you go and acts as a space to do drawings of your very own! Print your passport HERE!

Get outdoors and into the fresh air by hiking and biking on our town's fantastic trail system.

"Come shop handmade, local goods, listen to live music, and drink cold beers from one of the most award-winning breweries in Georgia!
Shop the Hand-selected assortment of goods at the market and go inside to get a cold beer and shop handmade, local goods at the beautiful Stillfire Brewing! This event is free to attend, dog-friendly, family-friendly, and features food trucks, live music, handmade arts, apparel, jewelry, candles, leatherworking, and beauty products! Enjoy the fresh air on the patio and shop vendors both inside the taproom and outside in the Beer Garden and parking lot!"
Summer Porch Jam
June 16th, 2023

"Summer Porch Jam evokes the feeling of an old-fashioned summer block party, complete with food trucks and beverages! Musicians play outdoors at multiple venues throughout Old Town Suwanee (including the Mayor’s front porch!). Bring a chair or blanket and stroll from venue to venue, enjoying a variety of musicians. The event is free – join us for music, food, and fun as you stroll through our old town area. Catch the free shuttle from the lot behind Ippolito’s – or just use the pedestrian walkway under the railroad tracks to get to Main Street and the area where the action is! Please, no BYOB."
Glow in the Dark Concert: Make Rare Visible in Healthcare

Broadway in the Park

Anastasia (Youth Edition) & Disney: The Aristocats Kids
"Join Suwanee Performing Arts as we showcase local talent in a double feature on the stage – all the pageantry of Broadway, right here in Town Center! Broadway in the Park is the Suwanee Performing Arts’ signature summer production performed in Town Center Park each July. This annual event is our largest community event each year. By turning the amphitheater into a Broadway-style stage with professional lighting, sound, costumes, and sets, the community’s talented high school, middle school, and homeschooled students can experience local stardom as they perform for the masses.
Reserved seating and VIP tables are available for purchase, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Open seating outside of the restricted presale area will be on a first-come, first-served basis (BYO chairs). Food vendors will be onsite as well as to-go options from Town Center merchants."
Red Cross Blood Drive
Friday, August 4th
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
The American Red Cross is in need of blood donors year-round, all blood types. First-time donors are welcome! The drive is held upstairs at City Hall in council chambers.

Annandale Village Extra Mile 5K
August 26th, 2023

The 10th Annual Extra Mile 5K raises support for Annandale Village's residents, all of whom have a developmental disability or acquired brain injury.
African American Culture & Arts Festival
Saturday, August 26th, 2023
2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
"Come join us on our journey to build community, express our culture, and celebrate our heritage.
This will be a free event, and all are welcome to come and enjoy our cultural festival! This will be an open-air family-friendly festival. We will have live performances throughout the day, food trucks, and vendors. So, wear some comfortable shoes, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and come spend a day with us at the park."
